there are more cracks we will be discovering in the kingdom of the heaven in the watchtower and i am going to ask you this: if christ did return to kingdom power in 1914, then how come we are not feeling the effects of his rule at this time?

is it reason to believe that jesus return to earth will be a future event and that it will be very much visible and that we will feel the effect of his return to the earth by crushing all these kingdoms?

in one type of meditation the mind is able to be fully conscious without he intrusion of words, which lead to thoughts,.

trevor, i'm not trying to get on your ass here, but, please.... thoughts without words?

that is a fundamental epistemological impossibility...rather like farting without emitting gas.. or, perhaps, we're talking about a purely personal "mystical" experience, which cannot be put into (and did not spring from, nor finds any possible formulation within) words?

16 children!!! I'm fascinated!

i have been following the story on the duggar family ever since i saw it when they were having their 15th child.

we get it on pay tv here.

anyone else as interested as i am?.

My mom is the last of 14 children. And yes, it is inevitable that the older siblings end up practically raising the younger ones. Fortunately, with my mom being the last in the bunch, she had her folks mostly to herself growing up. But they were older and that had its own set of challenges.

Of course, this was almost 60 years ago. I can't imagine what it would be like having that many kids in this society. The financial burden alone! My goodness.

My Bethel Experience final chapter

there were other people who either killed themselfs or tried to kill themselfs while they were at "the house of god.

one person who did kill himself was richard wheelock, press room overseer ......he jumped out of a window at the watchtower farm one day.......it seemed, he was never quite the same after his wife "willy" died..she seemed to be the only one that he could relate to.......which would make sence.....because he sure couldn't relate to any of us in the press room..........he would come over to our press and say "here is the work... get in out".......then just walk away.......he was not the type of person you would really want to talk to anyway......but wouldn't it be nice if just now and then, like every year or two, they might ask you how you were doing?.........you laugh.......but its true......i asked a friend of mind who was the press operator of press # 6 which at the time was one of the three biggest presses at bethel.

he had been in the press room for 4 full years.

Conflicting conclusions.

two books that i just finished reading come to conflicting conclusions.

the first one is by john mcgraw, brain and belief.

the second one is by dr. don morse, searching for eternity.

"Do you find yourself with conflicting conclusions after having read or studied different books on life and death?"

All the time. Which is why I'm more inclined these days to suspend my need for belief and/or truth and just be in each moment as it comes to me.
